About the Habitat Map App

In celebration of Habitat′s 500,000th and 500,001st milestone and World Habitat Day, we’ve created the Habitat Map App to encourages volunteers to tell us where they’ve built with Habitat for Humanity. Our goal is to create a dynamic representation of 35 years of Habitat volunteer experiences around the globe. Add your previous experience and tell us--what was it that made your Habitat experience memorable? Then help us spread the word by sharing with your friends and family.

About my experience I'm getting ready to take the JRCWP trip in November and I'm sooooo excited. I will get to have a "reunion" with a friend I met on the Thailand trip. How nice is that?

Why I volunteer I volunteer because, it's the right thing to do. After back to back natural disasters, including and earthquake and Hurricane Tomas, Haiti needs some help. I can not do great things, I can do small things with great love. -Mother Teresa It is a small thing to fund raise, and build for a week. I hope it will make a big difference for the 100 families we work with.
